In collaboration with Rival, Major League Baseball’s (MLB) 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers will launch “Rangers Gaming,” the club’s official interactive gaming community for fans to connect online, starting with its inaugural tournament on March 18 featuring Call of Duty.

“We’re really excited to team up with Rival as it will help us to meet and engage the next generation of Rangers fans in their playing field. The gaming space is massive and growing, and we’re looking forward to learning and expanding our brand presence in this space,” said Travis Dillon, SVP of Marketing, Texas Rangers.

Rangers Gaming will bring together the team’s fans in its official gaming community through engaging esports experiences and tournaments. Next week’s launch on March 18 will feature Call of Duty, with a diverse lineup of tournaments planned for future programming, including a variety of game titles plus MLB The Show.

Rangers Gaming launches on Rival’s newest platform, Rival X, which provides open access for gamers to host tournaments with friends and fans or join existing tournaments across the Rival community.

Rival X also features a live leaderboard and unique profile upgrades, trophies, and experience points.
