Last week, the WNBA announced the Dallas Wings 2024 Season Schedule as head coach Latricia Trammell looks to lead the Wings to their first-ever WNBA championship in her second year at the helm.

Here is everything you need to know about the Dallas Wings’ upcoming slate for the 2024 season.

20 Up and 20 Down – Dallas will play an even 20 games at home and 20 games on the road in the WNBA’s 28 season which runs from mid-May through September. 

And so it begins – The Wings will open their season on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 against the Chicago Sky at the College Park Center in Arlington. 

On the road again – Dallas’ first road trip will be their longest of the season. The Wings’ first road game of the season is on May 21st when they take on the Atlanta Dream and the five-game trip wraps up on June 2nd in Minnesota where they take on the Lynx. 

New Commissioner’s Cup Format – Each of the Wings games from June 1st through the 13th will be counted for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup in which the top team from each conference will play in the Commissioner’s Cup championship game on June 25th.

Summer Vacation – The WNBA season will take a one-month break following games on July 17th. The season will break for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix as well as the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

The longest Homestand – August 25th through September 3rd will be the Wings’ longest homestand of the season which will feature five games at the College Park Center including a matchup with the defending champion Las Vegas Aces on August 27th.

And that’s a wrap – The Dallas Wings’ final home game of the season will be on Friday, September 13th vs the Seattle Storm before the Wings head on a two-game road trip in which they will wrap up their season on September 19th in Las Vegas against the Aces.
