The Winnipeg Jets are soaring. They have won nine out of 12 contests this month and recorded a five-game heater before falling 3-2 against the Nashville Predators last night. However, there is a sliver lining. Dallas edged Winnipeg in 3-2 fashion on Nov. 11 in Canada Life Centre. More good news: Rest. The Stars last played on Friday night, losing 7-4 against the Calgary Flames in a game that saw both fiery captain Jamie Benn and calm Miro Heiskanen break their sticks on the goal posts.
Nov. 30 – Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames
This is a revenge game in perfect form,. Dallas, clearly upset how last week ended, should come out hungry, energized, and angry. The Stars are one of the biggest teams in the league. Once they get their game going, they can overwhelm teams quickly.
Dec. 2. – Dallas Stars vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
Wedged between a stretch of five away games. The Stars play host to the Lightning on Saturday afternoon. The teams then meet again two days later in Tampa Bay on Dec. 4. Dallas is 3-2 against Eastern Conference teams, featuring a 6-3 whomp over league-leading New York Rangers.
Dallas has an opportunity to improve their home record by a significant margin next month. There are eight games at American Airlines Center and six take place away from the Stars faithful.
