The Dallas Cowboys have had a solid start to the season.
They are 5-2 after week 7 and have won 5 of their last 6 after losing their season opener to the Bucs.

The Cowboys look primed to return to the playoffs after winning the NFC East last year with a 12-5 record.

The Cowboys lost their Wild Card game to the 49ers last year and are looking to make a deeper run this season.

Below I will look at the odds after week 7 for some of the popular futures bets on the Dallas Cowboys this season.

Texas sports bettors should be able to find similar betting lines at any online sportsbooks that accept Texas residents.

Super Bowl Winner

Dallas Cowboys +2000 to Win Super Bowl

The Cowboys are 20-1 to win the Super Bowl after week 7.  These odds imply a probability of 4.8% that the Cowboys win their first Super Bowl since 1995.

Dallas has had a solid start to the season with a 5-2 record and a manageable strength of schedule to close out the season, which should allow the Cowboys to secure a playoff spot.  After the playoff tournament begins, anything can happen.  If the Cowboys can stay healthy, they have a chance this year.

NFC East Winner

Dallas Cowboys +550 to Win NFC East

The NFC East has been on fire to start the season, which has surprised many NFL experts.  The Eagles are 6-0 after week 7 and have odds of -400 to win the division after looking very impressive in those 6 wins.  The Cowboys are second favorites to win the division at odds of +550 (implied probability of 15.4%), but we also cannot overlook the New York Giants who have been a massive surprise this season after starting their season with a 6-1 record.

Regular Season Wins

The Cowboys have 5 wins in 7 games, which has them at a 71.4% winning percentage to this point in the season.  If you extrapolate that percentage across 17 games, it would put the Cowboys at 12.14 wins this season.

As I mentioned earlier, the Cowboys do not have that difficult of a schedule to close out the season.  They are home to a 2-4 Bears team that will be on short rest in week 8, so the Cowboys should enter their week 9 bye with a 6-2 record.  After that, they have difficult but winnable road games in Green Bay and Minnesota, before three home games, they should win against the Giants, Colts, and Texans.  The Cowboys then finish the season with games against the Jaguars, Eagles, Titans, and Commanders.

Dallas Cowboys To Make Playoffs

Dallas Cowboys -800 to make playoffs; Cowboys +525 to miss playoffs

The Cowboys are expected to make the playoffs after starting the season 5-2.  The odds imply that the Cowboys have an 88.9% chance of making the playoffs and a 16% chance of missing the playoffs.  The extra 4.9% is the vig.
