The hottest team in the WNBA resides nowhere else but Dallas Texas. The Wings come into Monday red hot, with a record of 16-16, and have won their last four games.

Sure, the fact that they have racked up four wins in a row is impressive, but what is more impressive about it is the way that they have done it.

The Wings were able to take down both the number one-seeded Chicago Sky and the number two-seeded Las Vegas Aces. As if that was not already impressive enough they were able to win both games without their all-star Arike Ogunbowale.

The Wings have four games left (2 vs NYL, 1 vs PHX, 1 vs LA) including one tonight against the New York Liberty. With a win, the WIngs would have a record above .500 for the first time since the beginning of the season.

However, beating New York won’t come easy. Dallas will be without both Arike Ogunbowle and Satou Sabally who are both dealing with ankle injuries.

The Wings currently sit with a record of 16-16, good for sixth place in the WNBA standings. If the current standings hold, that would put the Wings in a first-round matchup with the Connecticut Sun, one that the Wings could very much win.

Dallas still has some work to do to clinch a playoff spot and stay in that number six seed, but things are looking to be in the Wings’ favor.

The way this Dallas Wings team is playing right now is nothing short of incredible and there is no doubt that they are getting hot at the right time.
