Texas Rangers baseball is finally back!!! The new-look Rangers get their first taste at regular-season action.
The Rangers head north of the border to take on the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Opening Day Starters
TEX- Jon Gray – Jon Gray will get the ball on Opening Day in his Rangers debut. Last season with the Rockies, Gray was 8-12 with a 4.59 ERA
TOR – Jose Berrios – Fresh off of a seven-year $131 million dollar extension, Jose Berrios will take the mound for Toronto on Opening Day. This will be Berrios’ third opening day start of his career as he started the 2019 and 2020 openers with the Twins.

Marcus Semien returns to Toronto to make his Rangers debut after signing a 7 year $175 million dollar contract with the Rangers. Semien hit 45 home runs and drove in 102 runs with the Blue Jays in 2021.
Vladimir Guerrero JR comes into 2022 after a historic 2021 campaign. Guerrero hit 48 home runs and 111 RBIs while batting .311. Vladdy finished 2nd in AL MVP voting behind Angles’ two-way star Shohei Ohtani.
Corey Seager and Marcus Semien both make their Rangers’ debuts following signing historic contracts in the offseason. The new middle infield duo will play in their first of many series as members of the Texas Rangers.
Former A’s 3rd baseman Matt Chapman makes his Blue Jays debut. Chapman takes his elite-level defense north of the border. Last season in Oakland Chapman hit .210 with 27 home runs and 72 RBIs.
