With the last game the Dallas Stars had played this far being all the way back on December twentieth now’s a good time to ask who has been Dallas’ best player so far. There’s plenty of candidates all over the lineup to choose from. Also being the most valuable doesn’t always have to mean who gets the most accolades from NHL media, or fantasy hockey. It can also be one of the best on the team who elevates the entire lineup the most Everytime he gets on the ice.
First up we will look at the guys who have formed the Stars’ number one line in Roope Hintz, Joe Pavelski and Jason Robertson. All three guys make up the top three for Dallas as point leaders so far into the young season. If there was such thing as an MVP line it would certainly go to this trio.
Speaking of the top line, Joe Pavelski is the team leader in points. While also statistically being tied for goals, and assists. With his veteran leadership, and being the top point getter on the team Pavelski can easily be argued for the team MVP of 2022. He’s also in the lead to take home the Mike Modano trophy.
In his second season with the Stars, Jason Robertson has jumpstarted the team’s offense. Ranking in the top three in goals, assists, and points. There’s an argument that can be made for him being the team MVP.
Roope Hintz makes up the rest of the top three point producers, and Dallas’ top line. So he is always going to be in that conversation for the best, and the most valuable skater on the team. Hintz will also get extra points in that category with goals like this to show for.
Defenseman Miro Heiskanen is often the most recognized Dallas Star. The smooth skating two way defenseman is almost a certainly to be the first, and maybe the only defenseman to be selected to an NHL all-star game representing the central division.
Goaltenders Braden Holtby, and Jake Oettinger have both been solid in net as well. However, the team MVP would most likely go to one of the top line centers, or Miro Heiskanen on defense.

The most likely MVP of the Dallas Stars this season is either Miro Heiskanen, or one of the guys on the top scoring line. So far, your Stars’ MVP is most likely Joe Pavelski.
