With the pending deal that is sending Minnesota DH Nelson Cruz to the Rays for their #10 and #17 prospect, I figured it was time to play “Armchair GM” for a second time.
It’s time to play Armchair GM and make another trade.
First we have to find a team and their needs. Then see if we can come up with a trade. Last time we attempted something with the Cubs, but they are now in sell mode after moving OF Joc Pederson. This time lets go to San Francisco Giants. The Giants could use a closer, and middle of the lineup bat and a starting pitcher. The Rangers have all three and they are being shopped around.
Let’s do them individually first and then plan a blockbuster for all three.
