Roope Hintz aka the best forward on the team has been one of the biggest highlights of a tumontuous year for the Dallas Stars. Whether you’re looking at his play, work ethic, or consistency. He played with alot of heart as long as he has worn victory green. Now he, and the rest of the team are getting much rest.
Finishing the season averaging just over a point per game, Roope Hintz played with toughness, and determination in all forty one games he played. Hintz did everything he could to help the Stars get into the playoffs for a third straight season. But the team fell just short.

Every NHL team get to nominate one player on the team for the annual Bill Masterton trophy. The Dallas Stars nominated Roope Hintz this season. The Masterton trophy is awarded to a player that is voted as the most dedicated to the game, and demonstrates the best sportsmanship.
Quick fact; Bill Masterton played for the Minnesota North Stars (their team before the Dallas relocation in 1993) when he passed away during in game injury. The trophy was named after Jim in his honor.
Hintz will continue to push the Stars’ offense in the right direction. Dallas may or may not be a forward away from desired offensive production. The off-season might tell us that. But Roope Hintz is a play maker who works hard, plays fast, and scores.
