With the winter transfer window opening in MLS, clubs have begun signing players for the upcoming 2020 season.
This weekly column will be covering all the outgoing and incoming transfers and rumors that concern FC Dallas.

Zdenek Ondrasek to Riga FC

According to sources in Latvia, Riga FC is trying to sign Zdenek Ondrasek. Riga FC were the champions of the Virsliga, which is the highest division of men’s soccer in Latvia. Zdenek Ondrasek arrived to FC Dallas prior to the start of the 2019 season from Wisla Krakow and played a total of 18 matches for the club in the 2019 regular season. Zdenek Ondrasek has been quite the journeyman is his career, so this move would not be a complete surprise.

Ondrasek was a late bloomer on the FC Dallas squad, but his 7 goals in the last 7 games of the regular season allowed FC Dallas to push into a playoff position. At 31, Cobra does not really fit the FC Dallas mantra of #PlayTheKids, but his departure would surely require the club to sign another striker.

Unnamed player

According to a report from 3rdDegree, Andre Zannota and the rest of the front office are still looking to make another addition to the squad. Although this could be the reported signing of Eddie Munjoma, or signing a player from the draft or from North Texas SC, the wording of the comment made it seem like a signing that will make the Senior Roster.

FC Dallas has been one of the more quiet MLS sides in regard to transfers over the past month or so, with nothing announced since the signing of Brazilian Midfielder Thiago Santos. However, with transfer windows opening up in the rest of the world, the reported signing could possibly be announced in the next month or so.
