Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks have announced they will now accept Bitcoin to purchase both tickets and merchandise. The exciting news was announced yesterday, August 13.

Last year Cuban hinted fans would be able to buy tickets using Bitcoin so many cryptocurrency users anticipated this move.
The Mavericks have partnered with the platform BitPay to facilitate payments. BitPay also welcomed the club with a tweet:

The Mavs join the Sacramento Kings to become the second team in NBA history to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment.
