FC Dallas is playoff bound after a scoreless affair in Portland

FC Dallas returns to the playoffs after drawing against the Portland Timbers this past Saturday. After missing the playoffs last season on a tiebreaker on decision day, the Huntsmen are the first team in the Western Conference to secure a playoff spot. This is the 4th time that Los Toros have made the playoffs in the five seasons that Oscar Pareja has been here.

FC Dallas leads the Western Conference with 54 points which is 2 points ahead of Sporting Kansas City (52 points). FC Dallas has 4 more games left in the season and will take on Orlando City this Saturday, October 6, @ 7:00 PM at home in Toyota Stadium. If you are unable to make it out the game can be viewed on TXA-21 or ESPN+.

Reggie Cannon gets his first USMNT call-up and gets MLS Team of the Week

After many FCD fans all season long saying that Reggie deserves to be called up to the USMNT, that call has been answered. Reggie will be called in for the US’ friendlies against Colombia and Peru and will have the opporutnity to show the country and world what we as FC Dallas fans have known for a long time that Reggie is the real deal.

Additionally, Reggie was also recognized by MLS by making the team of the week. He has a stellar and quite game against Portland that really help secure the road draw for this team.

Pablo Aránguiz mades MLS’ 22 Under 22

Pablo Aránguiz and FC Dallas fans were greeted with nice surprise with Aránguiz coming in at Number 18 for the 22U22. He said “I’ve only been here a short time and maybe I havent had the chance to show my game… I hope this is the first of many (honors). Why Not? I hope I get the chance to show I can support the team.”

It was derby weekend part 2 for the U-19, U-17, & U-15 teams while the U-12 played against Solar West. The U-14 & U-13 did not play this weekend

FC Dallas U-19 vs. Dallas Texas U-19: 4-0

Johan Gomez, Dante Sealy, Tanner Tessman, and Nathan Toledo all earned a goal for the team to give then the big shutout.

FC Dallas U-17 vs. Dallas Texas U-17: 4-1

Camilo Estrada had a goal and Ricardo Pepi got himself a hattrick this game. Great performance from the team.

FC Dallas U-15 vs. Dallas Texas U-15: 2-1

Berin Droemer got himself a brace to give the U-15’s their win.

FC Dallas U-12 vs. Solar West U-12: 5-0 & 7-2

 

The U-19’s sit in 3rd place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 9 pts, U-17’s sit in 1st place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 12 pts, and the U-15’s are in 5th place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 9pts. The U-19, U-17, & U-15 teams have all played 4 games.

It looks like the girls had the weekend off and will return to action next week.

The U-19’s sit in 1st place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 13 pts, U-17’s sit in 3rd place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 12 pts, and the U-15’s are in 2nd place in the Frontier Division (Central Confrence) with 15pts. The U-19, U-17, & U-15 teams have all played 5 games.
