As the season is coming to an end, games are becoming more crucial for improvement. But, with Antoine Rousell hurt its going to be a rough spot that the Stars are in. He will be out 6-8 weeks with a hand injury, which means he is probably done for the season. After watching the last few games, I have noticed some change in how the games have been going. Towards the beginning of the season, we always scored in the first period and not as much in the third. But, lately its been quite the opposite. The Stars took a win over the Panthers Saturday evening with a late goal, by John Klingberg.

The game March 2nd, we played was also a re occurring thing that keeps happening. This game we played was a tough loss for all Stars fans to watch. The Stars happened to blow a 3-1 lead against the Islanders with the final being 5-4. When we do end up starting out strong with a few goals early, we always loose our kick and blow a lead. “It hurts, it really hurts,” said Stars coach Lindy Ruff. “There’s no excuse for the way we defended a couple of those goals.”

March, 6th was a huge win for the Dallas Stars. We were able to catch a win against the Capitals. Shore, Faksa, Spezza and Sharp were able to score goals. After this win, a lot of Stars fans here in Dallas are saying that we are going to get a playoff spot. But, we are a short 5 points behind the Blues. It is very doubtful that we would get a playoff spot, but there is a slim chance.

Some more news involving the Stars is with Remi Elie. Remi Elie has gone to a emergency recall up to a regular recall. Elie is a Texas Stars prospect, which could be new and fresh player for the Stars.
