It was a rough weekend for all Stars fans. The big headline is how we blew a 3-0 lead and lost.. “That one really stings. It’s a tough one,” said Stars coach Lindy Ruff. “Our power play was going well. We did a lot of good things. That hurts.” The outlook for the Stars isn’t looking so good anymore, it is very doubtful we will make a playoff spot sadly. But, even though the Stars probably wont make a playoff spot they need to keep their heads up. It’s a tear in the heart for all the players, knowing all the work they’ve put in and it go no where but down. We need to figure out whats been keeping us from making a playoff spot and not make that mistake again next year.
Also, back in the lineup is Jamie Oleksiak. But, we still have Hudler and Nemeth as scratches and injured: Oduya, Hemsky and Janmark.
A issue a lot of people have been noticing is the turnovers. That has been how we have been losing a lot of our games. A breakaway or a turnover is how we’ve been messing up these games recently. With Spezza back in the lineup a lot of people were hoping that would bring a positive impact to the team and want to make us score more goals. But, that wasn’t the case, were still losing the crucial games that we need to be winning and stepping up our game.
Hemsky was also seen, back on the ice at practice wearing a red no contact jersey. Getting our players back in the line-up should be a good thing. Hopefully, the more players start coming off the IR and back on the team the more we can get everybody to start playing at their best like last season.
Although, so far were having a disappointing season Dallas Stars hockey is still Dallas Stars hockey. Every true fan will stick around no matter what.
