March 9 marks the beginning of the 2017 league year, and with this new beginning comes the start of free agency. With free agency, most teams get to keep their core intact with a chance to sign a high-impact veteran player who could change a team’s entire outlook for the next season. For the Cowboys, however, it is an unfortunate reality they have to face after such a promising 2016-17 season with their current roster.
